Audiology and Hearing Instrument Specialist Opportunity

Amplifon, a global leader in hearing care, is seeking a skilled Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team in Nanaimo, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client care and providing personalized hearing solutions to individuals in need.

About the Role:

As an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing tests and interpreting results to recommend suitable hearing aid solutions
  • Counseling clients on the latest hearing aid technology and helping them identify a solution that meets their needs and lifestyle
  • Building strong relationships with clients through personalized care and support
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and technology to provide ongoing hearing health education
  • Fostering hearing healthcare awareness through community outreach and partnerships
  • Contributing to corporate initiatives and projects, supervising or mentoring students and train new staff members as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a welcoming and efficient clinic culture

Requirements:

  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
  • Students and recent graduates who are completing their licensure requirements are encouraged to apply

Skills & Experience:

  • Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and devices
  • Able to build and maintain professional rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Able to work independently, autonomously, and as a collaborator
  • Adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Able to prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of insurance and agency coverage for hearing care services
