Position Overview

This role serves as a vital link between the IT department and essential business units, including Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the IT team, focusing on application solutions, design, and the deployment of IT systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all third-party vendors, including Microsoft support, SPS/Data Masons, Dynaway, and D365/Power BI developers. Responsible for obtaining quotes, assessing business advantages, and providing recommendations while managing project budgets.
  • Lead project management efforts for assigned initiatives within the MS Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP System, including prioritization, coordination, and activity reporting.
  • Accountable for aligning business processes with specific functionalities within the MS Dynamics 365/Dataverse applications, including administration, configuration, and/or development of the system.
  • Provide expertise in the implementation and upkeep of various modules, which encompass but are not limited to:
    o Finance
    o Inventory
    o Supply Chain
    o Sales & Marketing
    o Human Resources
    o Maintenance work orders (Dynaway)
    o EDI integration (SPS/Data Mason)
  • Responsible for generating reports using Power BI for enhanced business insights.
  • Manage LCS resources across four environments.
  • Handle data management for bulk updates to items and routes/BOMs.
  • Facilitate consensus among key users regarding configuration, impact, and business process designs.
  • Create detailed flowcharts and diagrams that illustrate system capabilities and processes.
  • Evaluate existing procedures, identify issues, and propose enhancements to company business processes.
  • Deliver training, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including junior application resources and help desk services, as well as end users.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Mandatory certification for Microsoft Dynamics MB-300 Core Finance & Operations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business system support and resource management, with a requirement for MS Dynamics AX/D365 F&O experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in X++ coding.
  • 5+ years of experience with SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Cube processing, Data warehousing, data modeling, and Power BI.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in Office tools like Excel.
  • Experience leading a team of 2-4 developers and/or business analysts during implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Finance & Accounting, and related business processes.
  • Proven ability to identify, plan, communicate, and execute projects from inception to completion.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, including project management, process flow, requirements/gap analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • Must possess a strong command of the English language.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary; occasional travel may be required.
