Vice President of Financial Reporting

We are seeking a Vice President of Financial Reporting who possesses a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Canadian National Instruments (NI) pertinent to investment firms. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead a global team autonomously while managing client deliverables to ensure exceptional quality.

This position is vital to our operations at State Street Global Services (SSGS), where you will play a key role in providing critical financial resources to asset owners and managers, facilitating informed investment choices. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing client interactions, executing new regulatory mandates, directing team functions, nurturing essential relationships, and guaranteeing superior service delivery to clients worldwide.

To excel in this role, you should exhibit robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, alongside outstanding interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders. A degree in Business Accounting or a related discipline is essential, with a CPA or MBA being highly desirable. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of managerial experience in public accounting or financial services, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of IFRS and NI regulations.
