We are seeking a Vice President of Financial Reporting with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Canadian National Instruments (NI) relevant to investment firms. The successful candidate will be adept at independently leading a global team and managing client deliverables while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

This position is vital to our operations at State Street Global Services (SSGS), where you will play a key role in equipping asset owners and managers with critical financial insights, empowering them to make informed investment choices. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing client interactions, implementing new regulatory mandates, managing team dynamics, nurturing essential relationships, and ensuring top-tier service delivery to clients worldwide.

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders. A degree in Business Accounting or a related discipline is essential, while a CPA or MBA is highly regarded. A minimum of ten years of leadership experience in public accounting or financial services, along with expertise in IFRS and NI regulations, is required.
