About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Fraud Claims Analyst to join our team at Tangerine. As a key member of our fraud claims team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our credit card operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to determine the best course of action for resolving fraud claims, while enhancing customer experience and minimizing losses.
  • Adjudicate liability for fraud/disputes on Tangerine Credit Card, exercising sound judgment based on thorough investigations and analysis.
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of chargeback authorizations, Pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration proceedings under MasterCard regulations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer transactions, consistent with Tangerine's standards and core values.
  • Handle indemnity requests through proper channels to ensure quick resolution with minimal impact on customers.
  • Manage the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox to monitor incoming customer inquiries, merchant doc requests, and claim follow-ups.
Requirements
  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and spoken) is required.
  • Experience working with Mastercard products is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TSYS is required.
  • Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM EST (including occasional statutory holidays/weekends), with shifts subject to change.
  • Previous Fraud/Dispute experience is required.
  • Post-secondary education in business or related disciplines is considered an asset.
  • Customer Service experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention-to-detail, and ability to make effective decisions.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem resolution skills.
