Maple Leaf Foods - Asset Reliability Lead

Maple Leaf Foods is in search of an Asset Reliability Lead to become a vital part of their organization, reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management and Reliability. This position is integral to the Asset Reliability Group (ARG) at Maple Leaf Foods, focusing on the reliability and operational maturity of manufacturing facilities across North America.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the implementation of asset reliability initiatives at the facility level.
  • Assist maintenance teams in pinpointing reliability vulnerabilities and underperforming assets.
  • Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) optimization strategy and provide guidance.
  • Perform assessments of maintenance maturity at plants and monitor advancement.
  • Lead a team of specialists dedicated to asset reliability.
  • Achieve objectives outlined in the ARG annual strategy and roadmap.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the domain of equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in asset reliability or maintenance positions.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
