Job Summary:

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team at Pinecrest. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as preparing for events and providing support during activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and program evaluation.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet resident needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual - English/French required.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in working with senior populations.
