Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive strategy for grants and foundations that aligns with our organizational objectives. Identify and pursue new funding avenues while collaborating with leadership to ensure cohesive efforts across the organization.
  2. Grant Management: Oversee the entire grant application process, ensuring high-quality submissions and compliance with all requirements. Manage a diverse portfolio of grant-funded initiatives, tracking progress and reporting outcomes effectively.
  3. Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with foundation representatives and grant officers. Conduct meetings and presentations to engage potential donors and maintain ongoing support from existing partners.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team dynamics.
  5. Research and Analysis: Direct prospect research efforts to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships. Develop strategies for engaging with prospects and maintaining a robust pipeline of grant opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in grant writing or fundraising within a nonprofit context.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Business, or Communications.
  • Demonstrated success in securing significant funding from foundations and grant organizations.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, such as SalesForce.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model with a blend of in-office and remote work.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
