Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies and foundations across Canada.
- Develop and prepare grant applications, including budgets and project proposals.
- Collaborate with Executive Directors and Senior Managers to gather data and build sustainable grant strategies.
- Articulate the need for funding, target audience, and project impact.
- Develop detailed and realistic budgets that align with project goals and funding requirements.
- Maintain open communication channels with funders and stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of funded projects, including reporting and progress updates.
- Stay updated on trends in grant writing, funding opportunities, and changes in regulations.
- Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field.
- High proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and ability to meet multiple competing deadlines.
- Bilingual English/French an asset.
