White Ash Group is actively seeking a Director of National Sales, a crucial position aimed at propelling sales advancement, overseeing significant accounts, and guiding a vibrant sales team. The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with executive leadership to implement strategic plans and secure the organization's ongoing success in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
Build, nurture, and sustain robust connections with essential retailers and distributors nationwide, particularly in strategic markets. - Sales Team Management:
Recruit, supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, ensuring they achieve or surpass sales goals. Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and ongoing development within the sales unit. - Strategic Account Development:
Formulate and execute strategies for key accounts that enhance client satisfaction, seize market opportunities, and increase market penetration. Identify and leverage distribution channels to optimize sales volume through strategic alliances, heightened product visibility, and superior service. - Performance Oversight:
Employ sales analytics and CRM tools to track and enhance team performance, making informed decisions to improve outcomes. Set and manage sales performance indicators and objectives for the team, regularly assessing progress and refining strategies as necessary. - Financial Oversight:
Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring cost control while maximizing return on investment. Provide performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management. - Market Growth & Lead Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including sponsorships, to broaden the company's market footprint. Participate in industry events and conferences to network, elevate the brand, and stay abreast of market dynamics. - Sales Analysis & Reporting:
Design and manage a sales route plan to enhance efficiency across assigned territories. Generate and share monthly sales activity reports with senior management, offering insights and recommendations based on performance metrics. Present findings to executive leadership. - KPI Monitoring:
Key performance indicators include monthly sales and distribution metrics, adherence to sales reporting schedules, and attainment of sales objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience:
A minimum of 5+ years in sales leadership, demonstrating a successful track record in the cannabis industry. Proven ability to manage key accounts and lead high-achieving sales teams. - Skills:
Outstanding relationship management capabilities, with the ability to forge and maintain strong connections with both team members and clients. Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proficient in CRM systems and sales performance management tools. - Additional Requirements:
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients and support the sales team. Strong leadership qualities, emphasizing team development and performance enhancement.
