The Field Project Manager will serve as the primary field liaison for the testing team, plant representatives, regulatory agencies, and Montrose clients. A minimum of 2 years of source testing experience is required, along with a readiness to make a meaningful impact from the start.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Start your journey outdoors Our Field Project Managers predominantly work in outdoor settings rather than traditional office environments.

As a vital member of the stack testing team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating project logistics by collaborating with logistics and office managers before field tests
  • Overseeing the onsite schedule and liaising with client representatives and regulatory agencies regarding any scope adjustments
  • Managing all operational and safety aspects of site-specific stack testing programs
  • Conducting data reviews and ensuring field quality control
  • Leading, training, and mentoring field team members to ensure adequate staffing for all tasks

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively fulfill the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or a degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of stack testing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of stack testing procedures and QI credentials
  • Familiarity with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Willingness to travel for projects, with overnight stays up to 70% of the time
  • Flexibility to accommodate weekend travel or work as needed
  • Ability to work in outdoor industrial environments, including climbing and working at heights (50ft - 300ft)
  • Physical capability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
