About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Extendicare (Canada) Inc. in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on thorough assessments and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
