Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct specimen collection and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
