About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes in London, Ontario. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide resident care in accordance with established nursing standards, principles, and administrative policies.
  • Assess residents' health needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Monitor residents' health status, report changes, and initiate remedial measures as needed.
  • Organize and direct nursing and personal care staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluate the work of nursing staff, including training and performance appraisal.

Requirements

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, including infection control.
  • Effective human relations skills and commitment to working with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
