**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality resident care, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, taking appropriate action to ensure resident well-being.
  • Organize and direct care activities, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Supervise and support nursing and personal care staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new staff, focusing on resident-centered care and best practices.

**Requirements:**

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of resident needs and care requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
