The successful candidate will possess comprehensive architectural knowledge, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams and external specification writers to produce tailored project manuals
  • Conduct research and document materials, products, and construction techniques
  • Create precise architectural specifications for various projects
  • Ensure adherence to building regulations and industry standards
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to integrate their needs
  • Assist in the preparation of bid documents and evaluate contractor proposals
  • Engage with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors
  • Maintain specifications in alignment with code updates and industry practices
  • Identify and address potential risks and challenges
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Architectural Engineering
  • 5 years' experience in technical documentation development, including construction specifications
  • Certification as a Registered Specification Writer or Certified Specification Practitioner is a plus
