Position Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks. Your expertise will help users navigate technical challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users facing difficulties with their computers.
  • Utilize user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to users based on identified challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support personnel.
  • Oversee the work of other technical support staff within the team.
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users as needed.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and relevant software.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Manage incidents effectively to minimize downtime.
