KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive new business sales in personal insurance by assessing potential clients' needs, leveraging marketing strategies, and utilizing referrals from existing accounts to gather comprehensive risk and underwriting data, while fostering relationships and closing sales.
  • Deliver outstanding service to clients by providing expert advice on insurance matters, evaluating their requirements, and suggesting suitable solutions through cross-selling of additional policies.
  • Cultivate and oversee relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Execute renewal processes and follow-up communications to uphold service quality and client engagement.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, including applications and insurance certificates, while making policy adjustments and advocating for clients to enhance retention rates.
  • Stay informed about current underwriting guidelines, product offerings, and changes within the insurance sector.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including participation in industry networking events.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual proficiency; strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Completion of post-secondary education or relevant business experience.
  • Previous experience in Personal Lines is advantageous.
  • Insurance License or progress towards CAIB designation is preferred.
  • Solid technical knowledge and understanding of the insurance market is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Capable of conveying complex information clearly and succinctly.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, client-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
  • A genuine passion for sales.
