What is the opportunity?

This distinctive role leverages your client-oriented advisory skills and innate problem-solving abilities to enhance each client interaction by assisting them with their daily banking, credit, and investment requirements. As a representative of RBC, you contribute value during critical moments for clients and work alongside other RBC professionals to help clients realize their objectives. Whether you are guiding a client on utilizing digital banking, welcoming a new client in a branch, or referring a complex matter to a specialist, your knowledge will play a key role in fostering meaningful and memorable client experiences, while also enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with clients throughout the branch and in the community, identifying banking needs, offering assistance and guidance, and recognizing sales and referral opportunities.
  • Emphasize client education and demonstration, utilizing technology to create a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business.
  • Respond to inquiries initiated by clients, assisting them with a comprehensive range of financial transactions.
  • Actively listen and engage clients in dialogue to better understand their unique needs.
  • Take initiative in resolving and preventing client banking issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Requirements

  • Mutual Funds accreditation, or a willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
  • A goal-oriented individual with a proven commitment to prioritizing clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to cultivate robust relationships and proactively engage with clients.
  • Proficiency in digital tools across various devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A history of establishing rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service sector.
