As a Sales Representative reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will be tasked with implementing our sales strategy across the Toronto North region. Your role will involve expanding our product sales at various retail locations while fostering and nurturing professional relationships with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee your designated territory to optimize coverage and meet sales targets, ensuring effective service of existing products and enhancing the distribution of Arterra products across multiple channels.
- Achieve annual sales volume, revenue, and margin goals in alignment with the provincial sales plan.
- Strategically plan and prioritize customer visits to fulfill organizational objectives.
- Equip yourself with comprehensive knowledge and materials to effectively communicate and secure customer engagement regarding new products and promotions.
- Negotiate for optimal display and shelf space within retail environments.
- Conduct store audits to verify the execution of marketing initiatives and report any discrepancies to management.
- Enhance product availability in all retail and licensed establishments.
- Focus on licensee accounts, including restaurants and bars, with an emphasis on staff training and outreach.
- Manage all necessary documentation and reporting accurately.
- Relay any pertinent information that may affect Arterra's business operations to the District Sales Manager.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with actionable plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in a sales role, preferably within the retail or licensee sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred candidates will reside in the Toronto North area.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of wine is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Vehicle must be less than 5 years old.
- Completion of Smart Serve Course is required.
