Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at New Shanghai Golden Chopstick Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Restock condiments and supplies as needed.
    • Package take-out food and ensure accurate orders are fulfilled.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, counters, and storage areas.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point-of-sale system as needed.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
    • Communicate effectively with management and other team members to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
    • Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client-focused and efficient in interpersonal skills.
    • Reliable and a team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
