This collaboration enables us to provide a broader spectrum of insights to enterprise content creators focused on audience development and revenue generation.

We are currently seeking a Head of Financial Strategy and Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. This role presents a significant opportunity to influence our company's financial trajectory. As a vital member of our finance department, you will be instrumental in crafting our financial strategy and ensuring it aligns with our overarching goals.

Position Overview:

The Head of FP&A will oversee all aspects of global financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, delivering comprehensive analyses of company performance to facilitate informed decision-making. This position will provide essential support to the senior leadership team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assume responsibility for the core financial model and guide the business's planning agenda, cadence, and financial metrics.
  2. Direct P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range plans) with a high degree of accuracy and transparency.
  3. Develop the annual budget, costing, planning, forecasting, and actuals vs. budget/forecast reporting and analysis.
  4. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to review budget vs. actuals and provide department-specific insights and reporting.
  5. Partner with the CFO and executive team to formulate and implement the company's financial strategy.
  6. Serve as a crucial liaison between the finance department and other functional areas, ensuring that financial objectives are understood and integrated into departmental plans and initiatives.
  7. Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including financial reporting, budget vs. actuals analysis, commission/bonus calculations, SaaS KPIs, board reporting, etc.
  8. Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  9. Conduct in-depth analyses of company performance, identifying critical KPIs and SaaS metrics.
  10. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling as required to support decision-making.
  11. Lead the preparation of quarterly presentations for the Board of Directors.
  12. Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports for investors and lenders.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic initiatives, investments, and potential M&A activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of FP&A experience with a focus on forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  3. CPA/MBA/CFA is preferred.
  4. Previous experience in a private equity-backed firm is preferred.
  5. Netsuite experience is mandatory.
  6. Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the SaaS or technology sectors.
  7. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  8. Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  9. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.
  10. Strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  11. Ability to excel in a remote work environment, balancing independent tasks with collaborative teamwork.
  12. Proven ability to partner with Executives in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Data Science.
  13. Demonstrated capability to guide organizations through periods of uncertainty.
  14. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  15. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and kindness.
  16. Must be based in the USA and eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $175,000-$200,000 annually.
