Position Overview:

In the role of Head of Financial Strategy and Analysis (FP&A), you will be instrumental in shaping the financial direction and decision-making framework of our organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will manage all facets of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, delivering strategic insights and support to senior management and key stakeholders. This critical position will involve developing and enhancing financial reporting and analytical processes to ensure that usable business data is readily available for the Executive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the ongoing enhancement of global financial systems to ensure precision in all financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities, while providing timely and insightful analysis of financial statements, annual budgets, financial trends, and ongoing forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align departmental strategies and budgets with the overarching objectives of the organization.
  • Analyze historical and current financial performance against budget and create models that assist management in understanding the financial implications of business decisions.
  • Prepare and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budgeting and reporting processes, including management discussions to convey financial performance, business trends, and strategic insights.
  • Establish and maintain KPI dashboards and trends for the entire company, as well as for individual business units and department heads.
  • Act as a trusted financial partner to business unit and department leaders.
  • Provide critical insights to leadership in preparation for board meetings.
  • Oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability through strategies related to sales optimization, margin management, and commission structures.
  • Review contract drafts for financial terms to assess risks and for budget evaluation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to offer strategic financial advice and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Finance and/or Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience within a global SaaS organization is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing a team of financial professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting software/tools.
  • A dynamic team player with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth analyses of company financial performance and implement forecasting techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, foster consensus, and drive strategic decisions.
