Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Black & McDonald Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Nova Scotia territory.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify potential clients in the Nova Scotia territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Utilize sales techniques to identify and solicit potential clients for future service work
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and specific requirements
- Develop and maintain communications with all levels of internal staff and customers
- Work with project representatives to provide input on non-contractual services
- Develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentations
- Prepare sales agreements and price according to company standards
- Prepare start-up documents and attend start-up meetings with new clients
- Continuously develop personal professional development and sales training
- Participate in department planning meetings as necessary
- Keep internal software and database up to date with sales activities

- University degree or college diploma in business commerce or related sales/marketing discipline

- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Competency in web-based sales tracking software
