About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Magna University. As a key member of our Corporate Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical learning programs that enhance the engineering competencies of our employees.

As a Program Manager, you will work closely with Group and Divisional management teams to identify, implement, and continuously improve the foundation of Magna's technical knowledge through the development and deployment of specific educational programs. You will also coordinate with the University of Toronto, other academic institutions, and instructors to execute courses, and act as a Corporate L&D point of contact representing the Magna University Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Work closely with Group and Divisional management teams to identify, implement, and continuously improve the foundation of Magna's technical knowledge through the development and deployment of specific educational programs.
  • Course Coordination: Coordinate with the University of Toronto, other academic institutions, and instructors to execute courses.
  • Corporate L&D Point of Contact: Act as a Corporate L&D point of contact representing the Magna University Program.
  • Learning Program Management: Manage learning programs for Magna University participants, including coordinating with regional L&D Managers and Specialists to achieve effective adoption and delivery of programs.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and communicate with group Talent/HR teams, management, and program participants to register, schedule, and track participation in programs.
  • Quality Assurance: Design and implement strategies to evaluate training programs at all levels of the Kirkpatrick model across Magna University Program courses.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in Business, Learning Management, Communication, Human Resources, or related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years L&D implementation in an automotive manufacturing environment, with experience in deploying L&D programs related to advanced technology and engineering competencies.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including setting priorities, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write well and produce engaging written material. Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly when communicating with senior leadership/executive team.
