About the Role

The Recruitment Program Manager will formalize the recruitment function into a single, dedicated function, manage the day-to-day operations from a functional perspective, and regularly evaluate and evolve processes to improve efficiency. They will also effectively report on recruitment performance and focus on building an internal talent pipeline through a formalized trainee program.

Your Responsibilities

The Recruitment Program Manager will lead the recruitment team, working closely with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and create a recruitment calendar. They will also lead recruitment for all trainee and all positions above Senior Manager, collaborate with other members of the HR team to ensure a positive candidate experience, and be responsible for intake and act as the first point of contact.

Trainee Program

The Recruitment Program Manager will partner with business leaders to understand specific needs for trainees in each organizational area, work with Magna IT's Global Talent Acquisition team to build relationships with local technology schools, and promote the trainee program throughout the organization.

Reporting & Analytics

The Recruitment Program Manager will provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of recruitment activities, deliver meaningful reporting on recruitment activity key metrics, and manage the trainee program budget.

Continuous Improvement

The Recruitment Program Manager will educate managers on recruitment processes and best practices, develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that the recruitment function continues to mature.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Recruitment Program Manager with 7-10 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably within Magna. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Office and be able to effectively manage a service team, working together to develop and execute on continuous improvement initiatives.

Your preferred qualifications

The preferred qualifications for the Recruitment Program Manager include experience developing trainee programs and working with/mentoring new trainees, understanding of the Magna IT organization and its operations, and ability to develop effective and strong working relationships with employees at all levels and across all teams globally.
