Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor at MINT LEAF SWEETS & RESTAURANT plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement: Manage the requisition of food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen personnel involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ingredient Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the restaurant's culinary styles and offerings.
  • Tray Assembly: Oversee and verify the assembly of food trays to ensure presentation and quality.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
