Job Overview

Work Schedule

Qualifications

**Education**: A **secondary (high) school graduation certificate** is required.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in **dusty**, **noisy**, and elevated conditions, including **heights**.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply multiple layers of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using appropriate tools.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets accurately.
  • Secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists effectively.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry properly.
  • Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound.
  • Work safely at heights, using scaffolding or swing stages as necessary.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Physical Requirements

The position demands the ability to perform tasks that involve:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Handling heavy loads, up to **23 kg (50 lbs)**.
  • Engaging in physically demanding and repetitive tasks.

Experience

A minimum of **1 year to less than 2 years** of relevant experience is preferred.
