About the Role

Solus Decor Inc is seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a Concrete Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve a smooth finish.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to meet project requirements.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, ensuring a durable finish.
  • Estimate costs and materials for concrete finishing projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.

Work Environment

As a Concrete Finishing Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training or certifications are an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
