Responsibilities
  • Apply multiple coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using appropriate tools.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets accurately.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry thoroughly.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound effectively.
  • Work at heights, utilizing scaffolding or swing stages as necessary.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms safely.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications with precision.

  • Hand-eye coordination.
