We are seeking a dedicated Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at 1087937 B.C. LTD. This permanent position requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Apply multiple coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using appropriate tools.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets accurately.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry properly.
  • Utilize a taping machine to tape over joints and embed tape in compound.
  • Work safely at heights, using scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks involved.
Weight Handling
  • Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
