Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive audiology and speech-language pathology services to individuals across various age groups, focusing particularly on preschool children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver treatment for communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish and uphold clinical standards.
  • Engage in special programs addressing specific needs such as Autism and Stroke.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure from the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists & Speech-Language Pathologists or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend services as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pediatric assessments and treatment.
  • Familiarity with diverse service delivery models, including telepractice.
  • Knowledge of best practices in early intervention for children with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to provide caregiver training and support.
