About this RoleIf you are committed to a comprehensive approach to patient care, this position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills. As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, allowing you to explore your interests and achieve significant results. Your role will focus on assisting individuals in returning to work and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver thorough, evidence-informed Occupational Therapy services to clients
- Utilize clinical expertise in assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education, and follow-up
- Thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team setting
- Demonstrate sound professional judgment in all interactions
- 1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia (COTNS)
- A strong passion for the profession and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Experience in return-to-work programs and interdisciplinary care
- Knowledge of chronic pain management and concussion treatment is an asset
