Job OverviewPrimary Duties
  • Oversee the administration of contracts and licensing across all distribution channels, ensuring that all agents and their supervisors are properly contracted, licensed, and appointed in accordance with state and provincial insurance regulations.
  • Deliver customer service support via our dedicated hotline, with phone assistance required on a scheduled and rotational basis.
  • Manage the processing of new agent and supervisor contracting documentation.
  • Examine contracting submissions for completeness, following up on any outstanding contractual obligations.
  • Administer and evaluate background checks in line with established approval criteria, communicating with agents as needed to clarify financial or criminal details in the background check report; make recommendations for exceptions or declines when necessary.
  • Facilitate state appointments for agents and supervisors, enabling them to represent Foresters.
  • Maintain accurate records of agent and supervisor personal, contracting, and licensing information across all relevant systems.
  • When notified, process terminations for agents and supervisors in the systems, ensuring that the appropriate state or province is informed.
  • Address and ensure the efficient resolution of daily inquiries via telephone and email regarding contracting and licensing matters, adhering to established service level standards.
  • Monitor and inform agents and supervisors about expiring licenses, updating systems as necessary with new information.
  • Track and notify agents and supervisors regarding expiring errors and omissions coverage, updating systems as required with new details.
Essential Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in French, both written and verbal, is considered an asset.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and time constraints while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and schedules, effectively organizing and prioritizing workload.
  • Decisive with sound judgment and decision-making skills to resolve contracting and licensing challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with producer and supervisor contracting processes in both Canada and the US is advantageous.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills with a solid working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of PMACS and the PMACS web portal would be beneficial.
  • Availability to work within the hours of Insurance Operations (8:00 am – 8:00 pm).
