Distribution Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator at GT African Mart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our distribution network.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Distribution of Goods: Plan and coordinate the movement of goods from our warehouse to customers and other destinations.
- Schedule Transportation Conveyances: Arrange for the transportation of goods via various modes, including trucks, trains, and ships.
- Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods: Conduct quality checks on incoming shipments to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Route Goods to Storage Areas: Direct goods to the appropriate storage areas within our warehouse.
- Pack Goods for Shipping: Prepare goods for shipment by packing and labeling them correctly.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.

- Organized: You must be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Team Player: You will work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals.
