Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor at SN ALBERTA INC. plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our dining services. This permanent position requires a dedicated individual with a strong background in food service management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Resource Management: Estimate and manage the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Staff Recruitment: Involved in the hiring process of food service personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality control standards.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for the department.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 staff members.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure. The position involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the expectation of standing for extended periods and engaging in physically demanding tasks.
