Regional Operations Manager

As a Regional Operations Manager, your role will be pivotal in nurturing talent while achieving operational success. You will serve as a mentor and motivator, guiding your team towards their professional growth and accomplishments.

The composition of your team will depend on the specific needs of the region you oversee. Your primary goal will be to inspire a group of dedicated individuals who are focused on fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 5 - 8 storage locations.
  • Strategically plan, communicate, and delegate essential tasks to ensure seamless operations across all sites.
  • Evaluate store conditions and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement, providing coaching to help the team achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support regional and corporate initiatives aimed at achieving operational excellence.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure adherence to established plans.
  • Drive sales performance across all locations while maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to staff to enhance their sales capabilities and consistently meet targets.
  • Engage in community outreach and B2B initiatives to promote the organization.
  • Connect with local businesses through networking events.
  • Supervise and lead a team of 16-20 employees across multiple locations to ensure efficient administrative functions.
  • Stay informed about competitive landscape through regular property assessments.
  • Facilitate leasing of storage units to meet client needs.
  • Promote and sell packing and moving supplies.
  • Assist clients with their storage needs and ensure properties are well-maintained and accessible.
  • Manage client accounts, process payments, and conduct move-out inspections.
  • Compile and prepare information for daily operational reports.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales and operations management, with a focus on retail sales and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients using positive communication.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, keyboarding, and internet navigation).
  • Strong coaching and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer service excellence.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a strong desire to succeed.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between locations.
