About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shree Khodiyar Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze kitchen operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and lifting heavy objects.
