Job Summary

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing key accounts, building relationships with decision-makers, and driving sales growth across our range of services in Mississauga, Oakville, and Hamilton. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Identification and Development: Identify and develop key accounts, building a robust pipeline of potential clients and driving sales growth.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Design and execute sales strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring maximum territory coverage and sales performance.
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with key decision-makers across various sectors, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private corporations.
  • Brand Promotion: Actively participate in lead-generation activities, such as trade shows, community education events, networking functions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, providing detailed sales reports and feedback to management.

Requirements

  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Sales Rep with a strong track record in business development, especially within a health service-oriented environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in healthcare services or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Education and Skills: A degree in sales, marketing, or equivalent professional experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and prior experience with CRM systems.
  • Hunter Mentality: Self-starter with the ability to initiate cold calls and build relationships from the ground up.
  • Networking Skills: Exceptional ability to network and build lasting relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit, supporting fellow team members to deliver exceptional client experiences.
