Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of immigration applications, while providing exceptional client service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Client Intake and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess client needs and eligibility for various immigration programs.
- Document Gathering and Verification: Gather and verify client documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Application Preparation and Submission: Prepare and submit immigration applications to relevant authorities, adhering to strict deadlines and government requirements.
- Client Communication and Support: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Application Status Monitoring: Monitor application statuses and proactively advocate for clients as needed.
- Research and Knowledge Development: Conduct research on immigration policies and procedures, staying up to date on changes and requirements.
- Case File Management: Maintain accurate and organized case files using our internal case management system.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively with colleagues, including lawyers and consultants.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the immigration department.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an immigration law firm, consulting agency, or related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using case management software preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English; bilingualism in French is a strong asset.
