About the Role

MCD McKesson Canada Corporation / La Corporation McKesson Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Nurse Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our patient support program, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Support
    • Manage patient registration activities, data entry, and provide answers to general inquiry calls.
    • Provide medical support to patients and healthcare providers, including education on specific diseases and therapies.
    • Prepare for and attend extensive training sessions for specific therapies.
    • Telephone support in a live inbound/outbound call center.
    • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, and patient follow-up.
    • Work directly with the reimbursement specialist and physician to secure funding for patient therapies.
  • Stakeholder Interactions
    • Liaise with physicians' offices, pharmacies, and other parties to provide comprehensive and coordinated service to patients and physicians.
    • Identify opportunities for improving organizational effectiveness and customer service.
    • Build relationships with key customers to ensure specifications and business requirements are clearly established.
    • Operate as a liaison between vendors and manufacturer.
  • Key Requirements
    • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bilingualism is preferred.
    • Thrives in a team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent presentation skills, both face-to-face and virtual.
    Requirements
    • Motivated, personable, and agile personality with experience in stakeholder management and patient care.
    • 5-7 years of case/patient management experience/health service experience.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a winning customer service attitude and professional phone etiquette.
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Bilingualism (E/F) is an asset.
    • Flexibility to travel across North America (approx. 30% travel depending on site assignment).
