As an Associate Group Lead, Commercial Banking, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Mid-Market team. You'll provide expert guidance and mentorship to Client Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts, ensuring the highest standards of credit underwriting and portfolio management.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Credit Expertise: Provide insightful counsel on credit proposals, including structuring deals, identifying potential risks, and recommending solutions.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Client Service Specialists and Credit Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Portfolio Oversight: Ensure the ongoing quality of the credit portfolio by monitoring risk ratings, conducting annual reviews, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Business Development Support: Identify referral opportunities and cross-sell options to Sr. and Client Relationship Managers, contributing to the growth of our business.
- A University Degree with a Business focus; an MBA or professional designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a lender with strong credit and sales skills.
- Exceptional coaching and management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of credit structures and risk management principles.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A commitment to regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
