About the Role:
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for structuring and packaging competitive solutions to meet customers' needs, managing and developing relationships, building your portfolio, analyzing financial data, and writing credit applications. You will also approve and renew credit, and monitor and control the portfolio.
This role is a permanent full-time position and offers flexible working arrangements, including in-person in the branch, remote, or a hybrid of both.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing financial solutions and services to meet their needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
- Analyze financial data and write credit applications to support business growth and development
- Approve and renew credit, ensuring compliance with credit policy and practice
- Monitor and control the portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry with a background in business banking
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio in a complex commercial and First Nations industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of portfolio management
- Acceptable criminal record check and credit check
