Commercial Banking Analyst - Unique Opportunity at First Nations Bank of Canada
First Nations Bank of Canada stands as a progressive and innovative federally chartered institution dedicated to serving the Indigenous community in Canada. We are currently in search of a Commercial Banking Analyst to contribute significantly in assisting the Commercial Account Managers with customer relationship management and the identification of potential business ventures.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Banking Analyst will take charge of formulating competitive credit offerings, crafting comprehensive credit documentation, and ensuring compliance with risk management protocols. This position demands exceptional analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to adhere to deadlines while upholding credit standards.
Primary Duties:
- Design and compile competitive credit offerings
- Assist the Commercial Banking team in recognizing business prospects
- Develop high-caliber credit documentation with thorough risk evaluations
- Provide credit recommendations to upper management
- Timely renewal of credit facilities
- Oversee portfolio performance and deliver insights on accounts
Required Qualifications:
- Background in business lending and financial analysis
- Post-secondary degree in business (BComm, MBA)
- Expertise in Excel and MS Word
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- Highly driven and enthusiastic
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
