CWB Equipment Financing comprises a team of experts well-versed in the heavy equipment sector. Our professionals are not confined to an office; they often start their day in the field, engaging directly with clients. Each day presents unique challenges and opportunities.

Role Summary

Are you an experienced professional with a proven track record of meeting sales objectives, particularly in high-value transactions within the leasing sector? Do you possess a solid foundation in financial assessment and credit structuring? If so, we have an engaging opportunity for you to become a vital part of our team and contribute to the growth of our leasing portfolio.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a personal business strategy and sales tactics to ensure robust, profitable growth in equipment loans and leases.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners (such as accountants).
  • Evaluate financial documents and create credit proposals for significant transactions.
  • Facilitate the credit and leasing processes through the preparation of necessary applications and documentation.
  • Utilize effective communication to meet customer expectations in collaboration with all stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong financial and marketing insight into local and national markets, supported by formal education (business, finance, sales, or marketing) or substantial real-world experience (5+ years in financial services sales, ideally in equipment financing).
  • While formal certifications (CFA, CPA) are not required, a solid understanding of financial statements and risk management strategies is essential.
  • Experience in credit adjudication and familiarity with collateral security and documentation are advantageous.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned expert in credit and sales within the transportation, construction, and manufacturing sectors. They should excel in negotiation, conflict resolution, and time management, complemented by outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build key relationships. A strong entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills are essential, along with a commitment to integrity and excellence. The candidate must thrive in dynamic, deadline-oriented environments, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to evolving technologies. As a strategic thinker, they will prioritize client and business needs, valuing collaboration to achieve common goals.
