Position Overview

Mediabistro is in search of a Senior Content Strategy Advisor to enhance our Marketing division. This role is crucial for conceptualizing and implementing content development strategies in collaboration with our communications, operations, and commercial teams. We seek a talented individual with exceptional business-to-business writing and communication skills, poised to influence the culture, brand, and expansion of a leading organization in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce thought leadership content that resonates with our clients and prospects.
  • Simplify complex information about our offerings into engaging communications for our clients.
  • Innovate ways to captivate prospects and encourage their engagement with our brand.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused content that guides our readers through the decision-making process.
  • Contribute actively to the formulation of annual corporate marketing strategies.
  • Identify and leverage content opportunities across various business sectors.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in writing and editing content that aligns with business objectives and secures cross-functional agreement.
  • Integrate insights from diverse sources to streamline content production processes.
  • Collaborate with campaign strategists, sales, and product marketers to convert insights into clear, impactful content.
  • Manage multiple complex projects, developing timelines and tracking progress for timely execution.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and oversee workflows to meet deadlines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to disseminate content through various channels, including newsletters, infographics, videos, podcasts, events, webinars, social media, e-books, guides, and blogs.
  • Assist in website content development and management as needed.
  • Utilize email and marketing automation tools for effective communication deployment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum Experience: 4-6 years in communications, content creation, marketing, and management.
  • Experience in the B2B sector is essential.
  • Strong verbal, writing, and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with experience in SEO-focused writing.
  • Proven ability to engage with all organizational levels and external partners.
  • Influencing skills are essential.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset is crucial for success in this role.
