Position Overview

Mediabistro is looking for a Senior Content Strategist to become an integral part of our Marketing division. This role is essential for conceptualizing and implementing content creation strategies in collaboration with our communications, operations, and sales teams. We seek a talented individual with outstanding business-to-business writing and communication skills, eager to influence the culture, brand, and expansion of a leading organization in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce thought leadership content that positions our clients and prospects at the forefront of the industry.
  • Simplify complex information regarding our offerings into engaging communications for our clients.
  • Innovate creative approaches to captivate prospects and encourage engagement with our brand.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused content that guides potential clients through the decision-making process.
  • Contribute actively to the formulation of annual corporate marketing strategies.
  • Identify and leverage content opportunities across various business units.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in crafting and refining content to align with business objectives and secure cross-functional agreement.
  • Integrate insights from diverse sources to streamline content production processes and enhance effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with campaign strategists, sales, and product marketers to transform insights into clear, impactful content.
  • Manage multiple complex projects, develop timelines, and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and oversee workflows to meet deadlines for campaigns and publications.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to disseminate content through various channels, including:
    • Newsletters, Infographics, Videos, Podcasts, Events, Webinars, Social Media Posts, E-books, Guides, and Blogs.
  • Collaborate with our web team to create and upload content as needed.
  • Assist in deploying communications using email and marketing automation tools and web content management systems.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum Experience: 4-6 years in communications, content creation, marketing, and management.
  • Experience in the B2B sector is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal, writing, and editing capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making experience with a focus on SEO.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels and external partners.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Agility and a proactive mindset are crucial for success in this role.
