Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Communications and Content to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key components of our content plan, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the consistency and integrity of our brand across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development of engaging and informative content across various channels, including social media, our in-house magazine, and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of content projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of our content, making data-driven decisions to optimize our strategy and improve engagement.
  • Work closely with our Director of Communications and Content to ensure alignment with our overall communications strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, sponsors, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and communications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications planning and social media management.
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies that drive engagement and results.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools such as Monday.com.
  • Graphic design skills, with experience using Canva and HTML.
  • Ability to communicate in both official languages, an asset.
