Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview
The Inside Sales Support role is pivotal in delivering both technical and administrative assistance to clients, as well as to the branch's Outside Sales and Counter Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Outside Sales and Counter Sales personnel in promoting all HVAC-R product lines.
- Provide technical guidance to both internal staff and customers.
- Generate equipment selections and job quotations for refrigeration and HVAC systems to support the sales team in meeting client needs.
- Evaluate various supplier options to recommend the most suitable solutions for clients and the company.
- Respond to customer inquiries, offering information and effective solutions.
- Engage in product training sessions for staff and customers.
- Organize and manage customer order schedules.
- Keep accurate records of sales, customer details, and requests.
- Offer counter sales assistance as required.
- Identify the most effective methods to resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to safe material handling practices.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with both staff and customers.
- Participate in an after-hours customer service call rotation.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned or necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Extensive familiarity with supplier websites.
- Capability to perform load calculations for HVAC-R systems.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Understanding of effective sales techniques.
- Knowledge of HVAC-R systems, with the ability to explain and demonstrate to customers.
- Proficient in processing orders, quotes, credits, and backorders using company software.
- Comprehension of basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking practices.
- Aptitude for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Energetic and self-driven attitude.
- Professional demeanor at all times.
