Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Conduct thorough product research to assist the Sales team in providing comprehensive information to customers.
  • Process sales and purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Track backorders diligently and provide customers with accurate delivery date estimates.
  • Handle returns and warranty claims professionally and effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive support to both Counter Sales and Outside Sales activities.
  • Resolve customer order issues promptly and courteously.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the products sold at EMCO Corporation.
  • Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
